Bard Water District
Home to several Medjool Date Farms, the Bard Water District is located within the Quechan Indian Reservation. Approximately seven-thousand acres are farmed on the reservation, and the other seven-thousand acres on non-reservation land. The Bard Water District receives its water from five diversion points off the All-American Canal, which is diverted from the Colorado River at Imperial Dam. The district is responsible for operating and maintaining the canals and the canal gates; currently, there are fifteen employees.
